氫羥腎上腺皮質素

氫羥腎上腺皮質素（英語：Hydrocortisone），又稱氫化皮質酮或氫化可體松，即激素皮質醇作為藥物時的名稱，在市面上有多家藥商出售[2]此藥可用來治療如腎上腺機能不全（英语：Adrenal_insufficiency）、腎上腺素綜合症候群（英语：Congenital adrenal hyperplasia）、高血鈣、甲狀腺炎、類風濕性關節炎、皮膚炎、哮喘和慢性阻塞性肺病（COPD）等疾病[1]，並且是治療腎上腺機能不全的藥物之一[3]。此藥可以口服、局部塗抹或注射方式使用[1]，但長期使用而要停藥時應逐漸減少使用劑量至零[1]。屬於短效性的糖皮質類固醇，與體內製造的皮質醇(cortisol)非常相似，為腎上腺機能不全患者最常使用的藥物。可以透過靜脈注射、肌肉注射來給藥。

此藥的副作用包括有情緒改變、增加感染的風險和水腫等[1]，而長期使用時亦常見骨質疏鬆、胃部不適、身體無力、容易瘀青和酵母菌感染等副作用[1]。懷孕時使用本藥的安全性目前尚不明確[4]。使用糖皮質類藥物的共同機轉是在服用藥物後，大部分的到達體內的糖皮質素會與血液中的球蛋白或白蛋白結合，透過抑制免疫作用達到抗發炎的效果[1]。

此藥是於1955年發明[5]，並列名世界衛生組織基本藥物標準清單，為公衛系統（英语：Health system）所需最有效和最安全的藥物之一[6]，目前也已有學名藥[1]。2014年開發中國家每日口服劑量約0.27美元[7]。在美國，接受本藥1個月的療程費用則不到25美元[3]。
