爪獸屬 （英語：Chalicotherium ）是奇蹄目 爪獸科 底下的一屬 ，分布於漸新世 晚期至上新世 早期（28.6—3.6百萬年前）的歐洲 、非洲 與亞洲 ，共存活了 25 百萬年。和其他爪獸科 的成員一樣，為外型奇特的草食動物 ，長達2公尺，具有修長帶爪 的前肢 後肢 模式種 為 Chalicotherium goldfussi ，生存於中新世 至上新世的歐洲，由約翰·雅各布·考普

外表 爪獸屬的外型像馬，頭骨細長，前肢比後肢長，背部向下傾斜。牙齒構造特殊，腳沒有蹄，三趾末端有強壯的爪。爪的發展有可能與進食習慣有關，用前爪把樹枝拉下來，或挖掘樹根和塊莖進食。
坐骨 的硬皮意味著動物會長時間坐在他們的臀部上，方便餵養。指骨背側長出軟墊，可能是關節行走的證據，也可以是為了避免消耗爪子，以收集飼料或用作強大的防禦武器。
這些特徵都與地懶 ，大猩猩 和大熊貓 有所相似 。
