硬吻鳐亚目

硬吻鳐亚目（学名：Sclerorhynchoidei），也称硬尖犁头鳐亚目，是鳐目下的一个已灭绝亚目，有一个形似锯鳐和锯鲨的吻部。但它们最近的近亲实际上是鳐科。虽然它们通常被称为“sawfishes”，但sawskates才是硬吻鳐类更准确的俗名。^[4][5]该亚目包含五个已命名的科：加纳锯鳐科、褶鳐科、帆锯鳐科、髋锯鳐科和裂根鳐科，^[6]有一些属（见下文）目前不属于这五个科。硬吻鳐类首次出现在巴列姆期，并在白垩纪-古近纪灭绝事件中灭绝，早古新世个体的出现系错误识别或重新加工的标本。^[7][8]
