真鱷類

真鱷类（学名：Eusuchia）是個鱷魚演化支，在传统的分类系统中，也被称为真鱷亞目，首次出現於白堊紀早期。^[1]目前所有的現存鱷魚，以及牠們的絕種近親，都屬於真鱷類。

敘述

與原始的鱷形超目不同，真鱷類具有骨質的次生顎^[1]。這個特徵使得現存鱷魚可以浸泡在水面下，以口鼻部前端的鼻孔呼吸^[2]。真鱷類的內鼻孔完全由翼骨環繞者。
