核形蟲綱

核形蟲綱（Cristidiscoidea或Nucleariae）是真菌總界下的一個演化支，與後孢菌（英语：Opisthosporidia）（真菌所屬類群）為姐妹群。由於核形蟲接近，但又位於真菌與動物主要分支之外，對核形蟲綱的研究可以提供關於這些類群的不同生活方式，以及後鞭毛生物與黏菌多細胞化演化過程的重要訊息^[1]。
