列當屬 （學名 ：Orobanche ）是列當科 草本 的寄生植物 ，約有200多種，主要分布於北半球 溫帶地區 。

形態 编辑 盛開的一叢單花列當 (Orobanche uniflora ) 屬於小型植株，約10厘米至60厘米高。完全不具葉綠素，而呈白色至深褐色，花 為白色或藍色唇形的花。雖然單花列當 (O. uniflora )的花為單生，大部份的種類由大約10至20朵花構成穗狀花序 。
列當的葉 通當僅呈鱗片狀、三角形。種子 極小，黃褐色至褐色，隨年紀而變深。通常於晚冬至隔年春末開花，植株未開花時常常在地表下不可見。
由於本屬植物不具葉綠素 ，它們需藉由其他植物獲取營養 。其種子在土壤中呈現休眠狀態，其萌發常常是受到其宿主 的根 部所分泌的物質所引發[1] 水份 及養份 。
有些種類的寄生對象具有專一性 ，僅能寄生在特定的一種植物，如 Orobanche hederae ，它僅能寄生在長春藤 上。有些則有較大的宿主範圍，例如 Orobanche minor 的宿主為三葉草 及相近的豆科植物 。
已經在各地馴化 （歸化），原產於歐洲 中部及西南部的分枝列當 (Orobanche ramosa )被認為在某些地區嚴重威脅到許多作物，它可能寄生在蕃茄 、茄子 、馬鈴薯 、甘藍 、彩葉草 、菜椒 、向日葵 、芹菜 、豆類 等，嚴重時會造成完全歉收。
