凱特·絲蓓

凱瑟琳·諾埃爾·布羅斯納安（英語：Katherine Noel Brosnahan，1962年12月24日—2018年6月5日），又名凱特·絲蓓[1]（英語：Kate Spade）或凱特·瓦倫丁（英語：Kate Valentine）[2][3][4]，美國時裝設計師和商人、設計品牌凱特絲蓓紐約（英语：Kate Spade New York）創辦人。

1993年1月，凱特和安迪在紐約創辦設計公司“凱特絲蓓手袋”（kate spade handbags）[11]，初期主要賣手袋，不久后發展到衣服、珠寶、鞋、筆札、眼睛、嬰兒用品、香水、桌面裝飾品、寢具和手信。1996年，凱特品牌首家門店在紐約時尚區蘇豪區開業，占地面積400英呎，同時總部搬到第25大街西10000英呎的空間[12] 。

2004年，“凱特絲蓓家居”開業，主營寢具、洗浴用品、瓷器、墻紙等各類家居用品[13]。她寫了三本書，分享個人的風格和哲學。2004年，新店在日本東京青山開業[14]。2006年，將手中剩餘的凱特絲蓓股份出售后[5]，凱特抽出時間陪伴女兒。2016年，她和合伙人創辦新品牌Frances Valentine，主營奢侈鞋和手袋[15]。Frances是她父親的姓，她的女兒、爺爺、父親和兄弟都姓Frances。而Valentine則母親的姓，她爺爺因在情人節出世，取為中間名。2016年，凱特把姓改為瓦倫丁[2][16]。

1999年，尼曼·馬庫斯集團購買了凱特絲蓓56%的股份，2006年持續比例減少到44%[5]。2006年，尼曼將凱特絲蓓品牌賣給了麗嘉邦（英语：Liz Claiborne），品牌更名為Fifth & Pacific[5][17]。2014年2月，Fifth & Pacific更名為凱特絲蓓公司（英语：Kate Spade & Company）[18]。2017年5月，蔻驰以24億美元收購凱特絲蓓[19]。

1994年，絲蓓和喜劇演員大衛·史派德的兄弟安迪·斯派德結婚[6]，育有一女弗朗西絲·比阿特麗克·弗朗西丝比·史派德（Frances Beatrix Spade）[20]。演員瑞秋·布羅斯納安是斯派德的姪女[21]。

2018年6月5日，絲蓓在曼哈頓寓所自縊身亡，房東發現后報警[22]。警方在屋內找到一封她寫給13岁女兒的遺書，內容為「我永遠愛你。這不是你的錯。問你爸爸！」[23]。

6月6日，安迪發表聲明稱她患上了抑鬱症[24]，并表示病情影響到了他們的婚姻[25]。他承認自己過去十個月和絲蓓分開住，但沒計劃離婚或分居[26]。

1996年，美國時裝設計師理事會（英语：Council of Fashion Designers of America）出於絲蓓的經典設計，授予絲蓓“美國服裝配飾新秀”獎。1998年，理事會授予她“年度配飾設計師”獎[32]。
