范马南陨石坑

范马南陨石坑（Van Maanen）是月球背面北半部一座古老的大撞击坑，约形成于45.5-39.2亿年前的前酒海纪^[1]，其名称取自荷裔美籍天文学家"阿德里安·范马南"(Adriaan Van Maanen，1884年-1946年)，1970年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。

该陨坑西侧毗邻基丁努环形山、西北靠近特斯拉陨石坑、更大的贝克勒尔环形山则位于它的北面^[2]。

该陨坑中心月面坐标为36°02′N 128°11′E / 36.03°N 128.18°E / 36.03; 128.18，直径46.42公里^[3]，深度约2.29公里^[1]。

范马南陨石坑自形成来，已被后续的撞击严重损毁，现已成为月表上一处带有一圈嶙峋边缘的洼地，其坑壁也已严重磨损且边沿难辨，环四周覆盖了一些更小的、已磨损钝化的小陨坑。该陨坑侧壁较周边地形最大高出1210米^[1]，内部容积约有3000公里^3[1]。坑底表面崎岖不平，显示散布有许多小撞击坑。
