絹蝶亞科

絹蝶亞科（學名：Parnassiinae）是鳳蝶科的一個亞科，次級分類中有3個族，8個屬，有95個物種（2個已絕滅）。分佈於全北界，主要為歐、亞及北美三大洲。

分佈

廣泛分佈於古北界至北美洲西部，物種多樣性較高的區域位於土耳其、中亞、喜馬拉雅山脈至中國及日本一帶^[2]。在中國記錄了4屬44種^[3]。在中国已知的绢蝶种类，有许多是特有种，如元首绢蝶、天山绢蝶、君主绢蝶和珍珠绢蝶等。

形態

卵呈扁圓形。幼蟲顏色較深，有臭角。蛹橢圓形，表面光滑。成蟲翅膀以白色或黃色為主，形狀寬闊，薄而透明。前翅有4條徑脈，2條臀脈；後翅後緣內凹，有一條臀脈。

• 馬兜鈴科（虎鳳蝶族和鋸鳳蝶族）
• 蒺藜科（絹蝶族：雲絹蝶屬）
• 景天科（絹蝶族：絹蝶屬）
• 虎耳草科（絹蝶族：絹蝶屬）
• 罌粟科（絹蝶族：絹蝶屬）

絹蝶亞科是鳳蝶科中的一個亞科級演化支，在約5890萬年前演化而成，是鳳蝶亞科的姊妹群，寶鳳蝶亞科則是二者之共同演化支的姊妹群^[1][5]。

內類群

絹蝶亞科裡面主要有3個族級演化支，首先絹蝶族是餘下兩族之演化支的姊妹群，虎鳳蝶族和鋸鳳蝶族則是相互的姊妹群；另外化石個體†Thaites ruminiana^[6]是絹蝶族的姊妹群^[2]。
