爱尔兰共和国国家足球队帽子戏法列表
1924年5月28日，愛爾蘭共和國國家足球隊首次以爱尔兰自由邦之名参加国际足球赛事，球队在1924年夏季奥林匹克运动会上以1-0战胜了保加利亚[1]。爱尔兰自由邦在1921年国家分治后成立。此前，一支统一的爱尔兰队曾代表整个爱尔兰参加国际比赛[2]。
截至2023年8月，共9名爱尔兰国脚在单场比赛中完成帽子戏法（打进三球）或打进更多进球[3]。首位实现这一壮举的球员是内德·布鲁克斯，他在1924年6月16日对阵美国的比赛中完成了帽子戏法。两名球员曾在单场比赛中上演大四喜，帕迪·穆尔在1934年对阵比利时的比赛中打进四球，但最终双方以4-4握手言和，这也是爱尔兰唯一一场有球员上演帽子戏法而未能取胜的比赛；此外，唐·吉文斯在1975年对阵土耳其的比赛中也曾单场打入四球[3]。除布鲁克斯外，还有三名球员代表爱尔兰上演过帽子戏法，分别是1929年的约翰·乔·弗勒德、1987年的大卫·凯利以及1997年的大卫·康诺利。唐·吉文斯也是为爱尔兰完成多次帽子戏法的三名球员之一，其余两位分别为约翰·奥尔德里奇和罗比·基恩。基恩是最近一次为爱尔兰上演帽子戏法的球员，他于2014年10月11日对阵直布罗陀的欧洲杯预选赛中单场打进三球[4]，这也是基恩在国际赛场上的第三个帽子戏法，他上演的帽子戏法数为爱尔兰队史最多[3]。
爱尔兰历史上曾9次被上演帽子戏法，首个帽子戏法由瑞典球员卡勒·帕尔梅在1950年11月13日国际足联世界杯预选赛上打进[5]。没有球员在对阵爱尔兰的比赛中单场打进三球以上。丹麦球星克里斯蒂安·埃里克森是最近一位对阵爱尔兰时上演帽子戏法的球员，比赛发生在2018年国际足联世界杯预选赛[6]。
