海曼斯陨石坑

海曼斯陨石坑（Heymans）是位于月球背面北极区附近的一座古老大撞击坑，约形成于39.2-38.5亿年前的酒海纪[1]，其名称取比利时生理学家柯奈尔·让·弗朗索瓦·海曼斯（1892年-1968年），1970年被国际天文学联合会正式接受。

海曼斯陨石坑的周边，月球北极区域图[2]。
 
海曼斯陨石坑位于潘索环形山的下方，左上是蒂森环形山、右下为梅津采夫环形山。

该陨坑西北毗邻蒂森环形山、北面靠近潘索环形山、更大的梅津采夫环形山和古老的希波克拉底环形山则分别位于它的东南和西南偏南[3]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为74°46′N 144°56′W / 74.76°N 144.94°W / 74.76; -144.94，直径46.76公里[4]，深约2.295公里[1]。

海曼斯陨石坑已被后续的撞击明显磨损、侵蚀，但仍保留有原始的圆形外观。北侧壁横跨了一座醒目的小陨坑，沿东侧及东南偏南边缘也覆盖有一些更小的撞击坑。它的东南段边缘略显平直，除东北段外，大部分内侧壁均较平缓，坑壁最大高出周边地形1090米[1]，内部容积约1687.77立方千米[1]，坑内地表较为平整，可能已被熔岩抹平，表面散布有许多小陨坑，中心点西南矗立了一座小穹丘。
