室女座HW

室女座HW（HW Virginis，縮寫為 HW Vir），是一個室女座內的食雙星系統（大陵五型變星），距離地球約590光年（根據恆星狀態和星等，依巴谷衛星的视差量測誤差過大而不能使用）^[1]。該系統是由一顆B型次矮星和一顆紅矮星組成。兩顆成員星互繞週期是0.116795日^[2]。

行星系統

有兩顆亞恆星伴星環繞該聯星系統。較內側的稱為室女座HWc，質量下限是木星的8.47倍，軌道週期超過9年。較外側的室女座HWb軌道週期15.8年^[1]。根據國際天文學聯合會的太陽系外行星工作小組定義，較內側的天體應該被定義為行星，較外側的應是棕矮星^[3]。不過發現者只出這些天體早期形成的模式和行星一樣^[1]，並且質量超過氘熔合下限的天體在形成氣體巨行星的電腦模型中也有預測^[4]。
