通利妥

多库酯（Docusate）也稱通利妥，通常药用为其钠盐形式称“多库酯钠”，是適用於便秘治療的瀉藥^[1]，若兒童有硬便時服用它是一個很好的選擇^[1]。若是使用類鴉片藥物（英语：opiate）的便秘，可以配合刺激性緩瀉劑使用 ^[1]。可以口服或是放入直腸中^[1]，一般效力可以維持一至三天^[1]。

此藥物的副作用並不常見^[1]。只有少部分病患反應有腹絞痛或腹瀉的情形^[1]。長期使用可能導致腸道功能衰退^[2]。通利妥可以在孕期和哺乳時使用^[3]。它是一種軟便型的通便劑，其作用機轉是提高糞便中的含水量^[4][2]。

通利妥是名列世界衛生組織基本藥物標準清單的藥品，也是在基礎醫療中非常重要的藥物^[5]。作為通用名藥物的一種，它的價格也同樣平易近人^[4]。在美國當地，一百劑的價格大約是14美元^[1]。此藥物的成分辛丁酯磺酸鈉（Dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate，DSS） 也可作為食品添加劑、乳化劑、分散劑還有潤濕劑等^[6]。
