吸蜜鸚鵡
吸蜜鸚鵡族（學名：Loriini），常簡稱吸蜜鸚鵡，為鸚形目舊世界鸚鵡科下的一個族。[1]該族的鳥類是一群廣泛分佈於大洋洲地區的鸚鵡。[2]這些鳥類廣佈於澳洲至印尼之間的大小島嶼之上，以花蜜、花粉、水果為其主食。[3]:286[4][2][5]:13這些鸚鵡的羽毛五顏六色，並有著適應於這些食物的特殊毛刷狀舌頭。[6][5]:13[3]:289目前下屬19個屬61個物種，與無花果鸚鵡跟虎皮鸚鵡的血緣最為親近。[7][8]
歷史與名稱 编辑
這些鸚鵡約自1774年就開始被歐洲人所知。[5]:16其中由瑞典動物學家卡尔·林奈所命名的物種即有五種，其中有紫頂吸蜜鸚鵡、喋喋吸蜜鸚鵡、黑頂吸蜜鸚鵡、華麗吸蜜鸚鵡以及紅色吸蜜鸚鵡。[7]
其英文名稱可被稱作Lory、Lorikeet或者Brush-tongued parrot。[2]Lory跟其派生詞Lorikeet的名稱來自馬來語Lūri，曾泛指所有的鸚鵡。[9]:131[10]該名稱在荷蘭旅行家约翰·纽霍夫於1682年的著作可見，並在1751年時由英國鳥類學家喬治·愛德華茲進一步使用。[11][12]其中短尾的族群被稱為Lory，而長尾的族群則稱為Lorikeet。[13]:2
分類學 编辑
在較舊的資料中，本族曾作為一個獨立於「鸚鵡亞科」[註 1]的亞科存在，並僅有12個屬53種。[3]:281或甚至做為一個獨立的科，即吸蜜鸚鵡科（Loriidae）出現。[14][15]但在後續的研究中，發現這些屬多呈多系群存在並需要重新分類。[2][16][14]於是在2020年的兩個研究後，世界鸟类学家联合会將其名錄更新並重新分類至舊世界鸚鵡科下，共19屬61種鳥類。[2][8][7]
目前吸蜜鸚鵡族位於吸蜜鸚鵡亞科下，為無花果鸚鵡跟虎皮鸚鵡的姊妹群。[8]這個族下以紫面吸蜜鸚鵡屬為姊妹群，在約1000萬年前分成了以Vini、Charmosyna為首及以吸蜜鸚鵡屬、雜色吸蜜鸚鵡屬為首的兩個大型分支。[8]以下為據2012年的分類建議以及2023年的系統發育分析所建立而成的親緣關係樹：[1][17]
地理分佈 编辑
吸蜜鸚鵡分佈於東南亞部分地區及大洋洲上大大小小的島嶼中，特別是在新幾內亞及其東側的島嶼上。[2][5]:13[13]:2且這些鸚鵡在分佈位置上大多不會重疊，而呈互補的現象。[3]:282[2]
形態特徵 编辑
吸蜜鸚鵡的體長介於6至15英寸（15至38厘米），體重則在20至280公克之間。[13]:10在野外的壽命約為7—12年，在圈養中則能活至15年以上。[13]:8有一隻野生的彩虹吸蜜鸚鵡在1964年9月5日被標記，並於1983年10月11日被重新找到；最長壽的野外個體則存活了20年餘。[6]:11[18]
這類鸚鵡羽毛通常較為光滑、且顏色豐富，主要以紅、綠、藍三色為主，但其他大多數顏色也可在個別物種中找到。[6][5]:13鳥喙也較為狹長。[3]:289通常其尾羽會有12枚，但也有少數例外喙擁有14枚。[5]:16除了少數物種如紫面吸蜜鸚鵡，牠們幾乎不具有雌雄差異，幼鳥也與成鳥相似。[3]:287多棲息於樹上，並成群、吵雜的活動。[4]
飲食 编辑
吸蜜鸚鵡以花蜜、花粉或者水果為食，但有一些物種也會食用種子，如虹膜吸蜜鸚鵡。[3]:286[4][5]:17其砂囊相較其他以種子或穀物為主食的鸚鵡而言，普遍較為退化、腸道也較短；但同時擁有了較為細長、且表層上具有乳狀突起的特殊舌頭，以便有效地進食花蜜和花粉。[3]:286, 289, 309通常對花粉和花蜜的依賴程度越大，其舌上的乳突就越長。[5]:17但在一些其他非吸蜜鸚鵡的鳥類中，如菲律賓倒懸鸚鵡也有獨立演化出該構造。[3]:289
雖然這種鳥類也會飲水，但作為樹棲鳥類，吸蜜鸚鵡通常並不會在地面上取水，而是找尋樹葉上的露水，並以毛刷狀的舌頭沾水取用。[5]:18
飼養 编辑
在所有吸蜜鸚鵡當中，大約僅有12種會被作為寵物飼養。[13]:7這些吸蜜鸚鵡個性友善、好動、外向，也被認為是鸚鵡中最善於交際的。[13]:2[19]牠們由於其好奇的天性，也不會排斥嘗試新食物，例如一些果汁、地瓜、綠葉甚至是柔軟的穀物都能嘗試。[20][19]但因其飲食方式與其他鸚鵡不同，且糞便水分相當多，因此需要每天清潔鳥籠及地面。[5]:13[20]且牠們也被認為可能會對其他鸚鵡展現侵略性。[19]
這些鸚鵡的攀爬能力很強，並樂於玩水。[19]其聲音也通常不會太大，能夠學習一定量的單詞且講話清晰，適合於公寓中飼養。[19]
保護情形 编辑
本族的鳥類在《瀕危野生動植物種國際貿易公約》多被列為附錄二的成員，並有兩個物種（紅藍吸蜜鸚鵡、翠蓝鹦鹉）則被列入附錄一內。[21]但仍有走私偷渡的情形發生。[22]
