瓦肯音乐节

瓦肯音樂節（英語：Wacken Open Air，簡稱WOA）是每年夏天在德國北部什列斯威-好斯敦瓦肯鎮（英语：Wacken, Schleswig-Holstein）举行的重金属户外音乐节。2011年，有80,000人次参与，包括乐队、工作人员等总共有超过86,000人参与这个音乐盛会。^[2] 它吸引来自全世界各地的各种金属迷，例如黑金屬、死亡金屬、力量金屬、鞭擊金屬、哥德金屬、民謠金屬、金屬核、新金属以及硬式搖滾等。

瓦肯音乐节在1990年首次举行，当时只是德国当地乐队的小型音乐节。1998年后，该音乐节变成了欧洲金属乐一年一度的大型音乐节，也是世界上最重要的音乐节之一，包括来自欧洲、北美以及澳大利亚等国70多支乐队参与。通常瓦肯音乐节在八月初举办，为期三天。2012年瓦肯音乐节的75,000张门票在11月29日就售罄一空，打破了原2009年所保持的记录。^[3] 整个2012音乐节会有137支乐队分别在7个不同的舞台表演。
