AP統計學

大学先修课程统计学 (AP统计学, AP Stat或AP Stats) 是美国大学理事会为高中生准备的大学先修课程中的统计学科目。该课程等同于大学入门统计学，时长一学期，无需微积分基础。本课程一般来说面向高中第三年（11年级）、第四年（12年级）学生，为他们提供选修。

根据美国大学理事会的最新补充消息[1]，AP数学之前只有AP微积分AB和BC两门，[2]作为对数学科目的补充，AP统计学在1996年5月第一次开考。在美国，AP统计学的选修人数大幅提升，超过了其它所有的AP科目。[3]

学生如果参加五月份为期3小时的考试并顺利通过，就可能换取大学学分，获得更高阶课程的选修机会。考试包括选择题和申论题两部分，时长都是90分钟。两部分在总成绩中计分比例相同。

大学先修课程为高中生提供大学课程的先修机会。1997年5月，美国大学理事会与美国教育考试服务中心一道提供了第一份AP统计学考试。[2]本课程于1996-1997学年第一次向高中生授课。[17]在此之前，大学先修课程数学科目只有AP微积分AB与BC。没有足够数学基础的学生发现AP微积分门槛太高，以至于他们在第四年无法选修数学课程。由于大学里选修统计学的学生人数与选修微积分的人数大致相同，美国大学理事会决定将统计学入门加入大学先修课程计划中。统计学所需的数学基础大致不超过高中第二年教授的代数课程，这使得AP数学的可选范围被大大扩展。由于大学专业越来越多地使用统计学，AP统计学因此更加注重应用。[2]有7,667名考生参加了第一次考试，使得AP统计学成为所有科目中首场考试人数最多的一门。[4]自此，参考人数到2007年激增至98,033人次，AP统计学因此成为大学先修课程第十大科目。[4]

如果学校开设这门课程，学生一般会在他们第三或第四学年与微积分预备课程一道选修AP统计学。[1]这种模式模拟为时一学期无微积分基础的统计课程，但高中可以决定用一学期到一学年来完成它。[2]

由六个人组成的AP统计学课程设计委员会为课程计划负责。大学理事会为委员会指定三名大学统计学教师、三名高中统计学教师，他们的任期一般为三年。[18][19]

类似其它课程，AP统计学是有AP统计学考试设计委员会制定的。在大学教授们的帮助下，委员会提出了大量的问题，并向选修统计学的大学生们广泛咨询意见。考试也据此修改到合适的难度和深度。[19]在此之后，美国教育考试服务中心负责印刷试卷，执行监考。[18]

考试在每年的5月举行。[25]学生不必死记公式，考场会提供一个有关描述统计学、概率论、推论统计学的列表。列表进一步给出了正态分布、学生t-分布、卡方分佈等参考资料。[2]考试时，学生应使用具有统计功能的绘图计算器来完成题目。[26]考试为期三小时，选择题和申论题两部分各为90分钟。[27]选择题部分为40道题，每题有5个选项。[28]申论题部分为6道开放问题，题目很长，分为几道小题。[28]前五道题可能需要12分钟来完成，一般对应某一章节或项目。第六大题为大尺度研究项目，可能需要25分钟来完成作答。[26]

考试结束后，计算机会立即审阅选择题。[25]答对一题得1分，无答案或答错不得分，但是也不倒扣分。[33]

六月初，高中和大学统计学教师会在指定地点批阅学生的申论题部分。[25][34]审阅人会使用预备好的规则来对答案进行评估，通常每人只审阅给定科目中的一类答案。每道题的计分为0~4分，其中4分为满分。答案的语言与清晰也是计分的考虑方面。[25]
