亞澳鸚鵡亞科

鹦鹉亞科（學名：Psittaculinae，台湾作亞澳鸚鵡亞科）是鸚形目舊世界鸚鵡科下的一個亞科。^[1]由愛爾蘭動物學家尼古拉斯·艾爾沃德·維格於1825年以Psittaculina的名字建立。^[2]目前包含已絕滅的近代物種在內，共有10個屬55個物種。^[3]

該亞科的物種在歷史上是自彼斯奎氏鸚鵡亞科的物種之後第二個分化出來的亞科，牠們多次由澳洲向印度及馬來西亞地區擴散，並在向亞洲的擴散中分成了兩支：一支在800萬至500萬年前開始分化，並演化出以拍尾鸚鵡屬為主物種；另一支則在1200萬至900萬年前分化了在亞澳鸚鵡族下的其他物種。^[4][5]現廣佈於印度至澳洲一帶，被稱作「印澳長尾鸚鵡」（Indo-Australasian long-tailed parrots）。^[6]

分類學

據2016年後的研究顯示環頸鸚鵡屬及巨喙鸚鵡屬為多系群，自2019年起已提出重新拆分為八個屬（包含重新拆分後的環頸鸚鵡屬及巨喙鸚鵡屬在內，另外建立Himalayapsitta、Nicopsitta、Belocercus、Palaeornis、Alexandrinus及Psittinus）的建議，目前已被IUCN及國際鳥盟所使用。^[3][7]以下是2023年的研究中以最大似然法建立的系統發生樹：^[8]
