藍調搖滾
藍調搖滾（英語：Blues rock）是融合了藍調與搖滾元素所形成的音樂流派。藍調搖滾主要是以電吉他、電貝斯與鼓及哈蒙德風琴等樂器作演出伴奏。從60年代初期藍調搖滾已經經歷幾次的文字名字的轉換，並且一直激勵和影響著硬式搖滾、南方搖滾和早期的重金屬音樂，一直持續到現今的音樂，還是有許多音樂家和樂團的新作品和表演。

藍調搖滾始於英國和美國的搖滾音樂家表演美國藍調歌曲。他們通常以更快的節奏和搖滾樂中常見更具侵略性的聲音再現芝加哥藍調式的電藍調歌曲，例如馬迪·沃特斯，吉米·里德，嚎叫野狼和艾伯特·金的歌曲。在英國，這種風格被滾石樂團，雛鳥樂隊和動物樂團等樂團群體推廣，他們設法將藍調歌曲推進到流行音樂的排行榜。在美國，有朗尼·麥克，保羅·巴特菲爾德藍調樂團，和熱罐裝樂團是最早的代表人物之一，而且他們“試圖演奏更長時間，涉及如爵士樂唱片中常見的即興演奏”。[3]加上在英國的約翰·瑪雅和藍調破壞者樂團與佛利伍麥克樂團的彼得·格林開發了更多的舞台表演方式，以藍調傳統風格為主，而60年代末和70年代初的群體，還包括十年後樂團，薩伏伊布朗樂團，高潮藍調樂團和Foghat樂團變得更加硬式搖滾的導向。在美國，強尼·溫特，歐曼兄弟樂團和ZZ Top樂團代表了更加硬式搖滾的趨勢。
