薩姆·克爾
薩曼莎·梅·克爾 OAM（英語：Samantha May Kerr，1993年9月10日—）是澳大利亞職業女子足球員，司職前鋒，現效力女子英超球會切爾西以及澳大利亞國家女子足球隊，2019年起擔任國家隊隊長。她是世界足壇最佳女子前鋒之一，同時為國家隊和美國國家女子足球聯賽（NWSL）的最佳射手[2]。克爾是第一位分別在三大洲的三個不同聯賽中奪得金靴獎的女子球員：澳洲女子足球聯賽（2017–19）；國家女子足球聯賽（2017–19）；女子英超聯賽（2020–22）[3]。

來自體育世家的薩姆·克爾出生於西澳大利亞州首府珀斯郊區的一座小鎮東弗里曼特爾，他是澳式足球員羅傑·克爾和羅克珊·克爾（Roxanne Kerr）[a]的第二個孩子[4][5]。薩姆為多國混血，其父親羅傑是英印混血、母親羅克珊是澳大利亞人[6]，而薩姆的祖父丹齊爾·莫布雷·克爾（Denzil Mowbray Kerr）來自英國，曾是孟加拉地區的羽量級拳擊手；祖母寇蘿·貝洛（Coral Beryl）是土生土長的印度加爾各答人，曾是一名職業籃球員。
薩姆年幼時經常與哥哥丹尼爾·克爾踢澳式足球，在她12歲之後因為性別限制讓她無法加入澳式足球隊，所以薩姆才改踢英式足球[7][8]。而她哥哥成為了職業澳式足球員，曾在2001年至2013年期間效力AFL的西海岸老鷹隊，現已退役[9][10]。
2006年，接觸英式足球不久後的薩姆被珀斯光榮名將巴比·德斯波托夫斯基挖掘[11]，他表示薩姆的能力和技術是相當非凡的[12]。兩年後，15歲的薩姆加入澳洲女子足球聯賽球隊珀斯光榮和澳洲U17國家隊，同時完成職業隊和國家隊首秀[13]。

2009年2月7日，15歲的克爾在坎培拉體育場對陣義大利的友誼賽完成其國家隊首秀，她在第76分鐘替補中場安柏·尼爾森登場[15]，而澳大利亞在該場比賽以1比5慘敗義大利。2010年5月30日，克爾在成都市體育中心對陣朝鮮的2010年亞足聯女子亞洲盃決賽中攻入她的首顆國際賽事進球，她在上半場第19分鐘早早破門，幫助澳大利亞持平比分到延長賽結束，最終該屆冠軍由澳大利亞奪下，這也是克爾收穫的第一座大型國際賽事獎盃[16]。
