倫敦衛生與熱帶醫學院

倫敦衛生與熱帶醫學院（London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine，縮寫：LSHTM）是一所位於英國倫敦的研究型大學，研究領域集中在公共健康和熱帶醫學上，1899年由萬巴德創建，目前為倫敦大學聯邦的成員機構之一，以招收碩士跟博士為主，未招收學士生。

歷史

 

阿爾伯特碼頭海員醫院，20世紀初

1899年，倫敦衛生與熱帶醫學院由萬巴德創建，當時稱倫敦熱帶醫學學校（London School of Tropical Medicine），位於倫敦碼頭區的阿爾伯特碼頭海員醫院。^[4]

1920年與熱帶疾病醫院一起搬到了倫敦中央Endsleigh Gardens，接管一所一戰時期的軍官醫院。^[5]1924年獲皇家憲章并改現名。1929年搬至現址高爾街。
