阿德萊德港恩埠市佔地約97平方公里，由多倫士河（英语：River Torrens）延伸至外港（英语：Outer Harbor, South Australia）。不少南澳州的歷史建築和地標都位於此市，其中市政局所在地阿德萊德港（英语：Port Adelaide）又被稱之為舊城區，地標包括南澳海事博物館（英语：South Australian Maritime Museum）、國立鐵路博物館、航空博物館。
阿德萊德港恩埠市於1996年3月26日成立，合併自阿德萊德港市（英语：City of Port Adelaide）及恩埠市（英语：City of Enfield）。
阿德萊德港市编辑
1837年，阿德萊德港（英语：Port Adelaide）開埠，隨後在1855年12月27日阿德萊德港議會（英語：Council of Port Adelaide）成立，為阿德萊德港公司市鎮。[10]1884至1900年間，阿德萊德港公司市鎮與鄰近五個區議會合併。[10]1901年，南澳州總督宣布阿德萊德港為自治市。[10]
恩埠市编辑
1868年，現時恩埠（英语：Enfield, South Australia）所在一帶屬於油泰來區議會（英语：District Council of Yatala）。1868年，油泰來區以乾河（英语：Dry Creek (South Australia)）為界，分為南北兩區；恩埠改屬油泰來南區議會（英语：District Council of Yatala South）。[11]1933年，油泰來南區議會改稱恩埠區議會。1944年，恩埠升格為自治市。1953年，隨着戰後人口急增，升格為恩埠市。[10]
