起锚歌

《起锚歌》（Anchors Aweigh）是美国海军学院的應援歌和美国海军非官方的進行曲。起锚歌由查尔斯·齐默曼（Charles A. Zimmerman）於1906年作曲，阿尔弗雷德·哈特·迈尔斯（Alfred Hart Miles）作词。該歌曲於第二次世界大戰期間流傳至中華民國，經另填中文歌詞後，成為中華民國海軍軍歌之一，作詞者不詳。歌詞充分自然地將海軍在海上生活的心情表達出來。

歷史

這首歌於1906年12月1日在賓夕法尼亞州費城的富蘭克林球場（英语：Franklin Field）舉行的美國海軍陸軍橄欖球賽中首次播放。海軍在超過30,000人的觀眾面前以10-0獲勝，這是他們自1900年以來在比賽中的首次獲勝。

這首歌逐漸被採納為美國海軍的代表歌曲；儘管有一項未決的議案將其定為海軍的官方歌曲，並將其表演納入海軍規例，但它的狀態仍然是非官方的。它的歌詞被認為過於專門針對學院而不能代表海軍，因此由喬治·D·洛特曼（George D. Lottman）重寫（“向學院的歡樂告別”一句）。
