范维克陨石坑

范维克陨石坑(Van Wijk)是位于月球背面南部的一座撞击坑，其名称取自荷兰天文学家"乌科·范维克"(Uco van Wijk，1924年-1966年)，1970年被国际天文学联合会正式批准接受。

描述

该陨坑西北毗邻普里斯特利环形山；北面靠近木村陨石坑；费希纳环形山位于它的东北；东南坐落着巨大的薛定谔环形山。范维克陨石坑东面是东面则是修长普朗克月谷^[1]。该陨坑的中心月面坐标为62°30′S 119°04′E / 62.5°S 119.06°E / -62.5; 119.06，直径31.1公里^[2]，深度为2.05公里^[3]。

范维克陨石坑外观呈多边形状，北侧边缘锯齿交错，而南侧则明显向外鼓出。陨坑口仍保持尖峭，北侧和西北面稍有磨损，内侧坡平整向下。坑壁平均高出周边地形940米^[3]，内部容积约有700公里^3[3]。碗状的坑底相对平坦，无其它典型的地貌结构。
