英國太平洋艦隊
英國太平洋艦隊(BPF)是英國皇家海軍在第二次世界大戰期間對日作戰的一支艦群編制部隊。艦隊由大英帝國的海軍艦艇組成。BPF於1944年11月22日正式成立，由前東方艦隊剩餘的艦隻組成，然後更名為東印度艦隊，並繼續駐紮在亭可馬里。 [1] 英國太平洋艦隊的主要基地位於澳洲悉尼市，前沿基地位於巴布亞新畿內亞的馬努斯島。艦隊規模是皇家海軍有史以來最大的艦隊之一，到對日戰爭勝利日時，BPF由兩百多艘船和潛艇以及750多架飛機組成; 包括四艘戰列艦和六艘艦隊航空母艦，十五艘小型航空母艦，十一艘巡洋艦和許多較小的戰艦，潛艇和支援艦。許多英國艦艇上的艦員都來自大英國協國家，英國太平洋艦隊的核心是第1航母分艦隊，英國太平洋艦隊半數以上的飛行員來自大英國協國家。艦隊參加了沖繩島戰役和對日本的最後一次海上打擊行動。
