This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.[1] 本憲法及依本憲法所制定之合眾國法律；以及合眾國已經締結及將要締結的一切條約，皆為全國之最高法律；每個州的法官都應受其約束，任何一州憲法或法律中的任何內容與之抵觸時，均不得有違這一規定。
