维加环形山

维加环形山(Vega)是月球正面东南部一座古老的撞击坑残迹，约形成于前酒海纪[1]，其名称取自斯洛文尼亚天文学家、物理学家及炮兵军官"尤里·弗赖赫尔·冯·维加"男爵(Georg Freiherr von Vega，1754年-1802年)，1935年被国际天文学联合会正式批准接受。

描述

该陨坑西北毗邻夫琅和费环形山；东南偏东靠近佩雷斯克环形山；赖马鲁斯陨石坑位于它的西南，更远处则是笔直的里伊塔月谷[2]。该陨坑的中心月面坐标为45°25′S 63°16′E / 45.41°S 63.27°E / -45.41; 63.27，直径73.5公里[3]，深度为2.78公里[4]。

维加环形山自形成来，因长期的撞击侵蚀而严重损毁，卫星坑"维加 B"坐落在它的坑底南部及内壁上。陨坑西侧坑壁保存完好；而东北偏东侧壁上重叠着一对相连的陨坑；沿西侧外壁覆盖有一串小撞击坑，其余部分外壁呈圆背状并嵌入了众多的小陨坑。维加环形山的坑壁平均高出周边地形1320米[1]，内部容积约有5100公里3[1]。碗状的坑底相对平坦，表面散布着许多细小的陨坑。
