賈方·艾德波

早期生活

賈方·艾德波生於牛津郡上海福德（英语：Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire）。母親是來自倫敦的英國奈及利亞人^[2]，父親是來自田納西州查塔努加的非裔美國人。外祖父法泰·艾德波（Fatai Adepo）是奈及利亞前總統奥卢塞贡·奥巴桑乔的特別顧問^[3]他在2歲時隨家人移居美國^[4]。他於馬里蘭州華爾道夫（英语：Waldorf, Maryland）長大，曾在學校和教堂演出^[5]。

艾德波就讀於馬里蘭州布伊州立大學（英语：Bowie State University），獲得政治學和哲學學士學位^[5]。在學習政治學時，他開始學習創意寫作課程。後來他決定搬到洛杉磯成為一名作家。開始在商業工作坊工作以增加收入。^[4]
