皮耶拉佐陨石坑

皮耶拉佐陨石坑（Pierazzo）是位于月球背面赤道区的一座小撞击坑，约形成于11亿年前的哥白尼纪[2]，其名称取自意大利行星科学家伊丽莎白·皮耶拉佐（英语：Elisabetta Pierazzo）(Elisabetta Pierazzo，1963年-2011)，2015年5月26日被国际天文学联合会正式接受[1]。

描述 编辑

该陨坑南北分别毗邻克拉马罗夫陨石坑和埃尔维环形山，西南偏西靠近楞次陨石坑，再往南则横亘了巨大的科迪勒拉山脉[3]。它的中心月面坐标为3°18′N 100°14′W / 3.3°N 100.24°W / 3.3; -100.24，直径9.29公里[4]，深约1.54公里[2]。

皮耶拉佐陨石坑坐落在环东方海撞击盆地的巨大喷发覆盖层内，外观呈圆杯状，带有一个平坦的小坑底。但坑壁壁沿锐利尖峭，平整的内侧壁具有极高的反照率。它的坑壁最大高出周边地形350米[2]，内部容积约有32.07公里3[2]。该陨坑被一圈突出射纹系统和形成时抛出的高反照率喷出物所环绕。它的这一纤细但宽泛的射纹系统向四周散发延伸超过100公里。
