白康迪

白康迪（Kanti Prasad Bajpai）是一名印度學者、前杜恩公學校長，也是一名知名國際事務分析員^[1][2]他也是知名的中國－印度關係專家。^[3] 他目前是新加坡國立大學教授，並且擔任李光耀公共政策學院的研究副院長^[4]。

早年生活和教育

白康迪生於印度外交官家庭：父親Uma Shankar Bajpai是前印度駐加拿大高級專員^[5]；叔叔K.S. Bajpai是前駐美國大使；爺爺Girija Shankar Bajpai則是印度獨立前駐美國的Agent-General 。他跟隨其他家族成員就學於知名的杜恩公學，畢業後前往不列顛哥倫比亞大學取得經濟學文學士、政治學碩士，1981年回到母校任教。他其後重新回到北美於伊利諾大學厄巴納-香檳分校修讀政治學博士^[6]。
