洪世章

洪世章是國內從事質性研究、策略管理、創新與創業管理相關研究的著名學者，著有《創新六策》一書，由聯經出版社出版[2][3]。

2016-2017年間，曾借調至中華民國行政院科技部，擔任人文與社會科學研究發展司司長[4][5]。

學術生涯

剛畢業時，由於博士論文是採用當時台灣商管學界比較冷門的質性研究，回台灣找工作時相對較辛苦，根據他本人自述：「論文中一個方程式都沒有，有人說我像寫了一本紅樓夢。」[6]

首先於淡江大學的國際貿易學系任教（1995-1996），接著轉往國立清華大學的工業工程學系服務（1996-2000），是國立清華大學在台復校後，聘任的第一位商管博士，同時也一樣被要求在六年內於工學院升等為副教授。後於西元2001年於國立清華大學新成立的科技管理研究所服務。

在清大科管所期間，先後擔任過所長、科技管理學院副院長、EMBA/MBA/EDP執行長、科技政策研究中心主任、技術創新與創業研究中心主任等職務。

研究表現

主要的研究領域有策略、創新、組織。博士論文題目為「Social Structures, Industry System, Corporate Identities and Strategic Choices」[7]，文中採用英國後結構主義的社會學家安東尼・紀登斯的結構化理論（structuration theory），分析與比較台灣個人電腦產業的策略選擇，該博士論文於1997年發表在國際知名學術期刊Organization Studies，題目為「Strategies and Institutions A Pluralistic Account of Strategies in the Taiwanese Computer Industry」[8]。

洪世章不僅在國內大多數TSSCI期刊有所發表，包含：管理學報、中山管理評論、台大管理論叢、科技管理學刊、管理評論、組織與管理等，並於國外知名期刊，包含：Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal、Human Relations、Long Range Planning、Research Policy、R&D Management、Asia Pacific Journal of Management等有所發表。

在根據中山管理評論於2010年第十八卷第一期的「台灣管理學門質性研究之回顧與展望」一文中（作者：彭玉樹、梁奕忠、于卓民、梁晉嘉），提到：「在個別作者的貢獻方面，本研究將每篇文獻的作者以平均的方式給予相等的權重......其中洪世章和林東清無論在篇數和點數數值均明顯超越其他作者，顯見兩位學者長期對質性研究的付出。」（29頁），當中，洪世章又以3.33點數值排名第一[9]。

得過的獎項有：清華大學新進人員獎、國科會吳大猷先生紀念獎、管理學報論文獎、產經論文獎、國科會傑出研究獎（國內策略與科管學界唯一兩次獲獎者），以及中華民國科技管理學會與美國管理學會（英语：Academy of Management）（Academy of Management）年會最佳論文。

2016年，出版《創新六策》一書，由聯經出版社出版，書中論述六種創新策略：能力、定位、簡則、整合、開放、賦名，並透過許多個案進行說明與討論[10]。

在碩士班、博士班、在職專班均有授課，並在2005、2006、2007年連續三年票選為清華EMBA最受歡迎名師第一名。

碩士班開設的課程有「創新與技術策略」，博士班則是開設「質性研究方法」，曾被譽為清大科管所博士班最難修的一堂課。
