泰达币

泰达币（英語：Tether），又称USDT，是由Tether Limited发行的有争议的加密货币，而Tether Limited由Bitfinex的所有者控制。USDT為一種穩定幣。此币於2014年發行，以區塊鏈為基礎的平台，透過數位方式促進法定貨幣的使用。^[1] Tether Limited以前曾错误地声称每枚代币都有1美元的担保，但在2019年3月14日更改了担保，以包括对关联公司的贷款。^[2][3][4]

学术研究

格里芬和沙姆斯的研究发现，在市场低迷时期，Tether铸造新的美元₮后，比特币价格上升。他们猜测这是一种操纵市场的企图^[5]。这些发现遭到了Bitfinex加密货币交易所的质疑，他们声称作者偷换了数据，并且缺乏完整的数据集^[6]。随后的研究人员发现，几乎没有证据表明Tether美元₮铸造事件影响了比特币价格，支持Bitfinex的批评^[7][8][9]。2022年，研究发现，只有当鲸鱼警报在推特上向公众宣布Tether铸造了USDT时，比特币价格才会上涨，支持投资者对新闻公告的典型反应^[10]。格里芬和沙姆斯研究之后的学术研究并没有得出Tether操纵比特币的结论^{[7][8][9][10]}。Tether和Bitfinex的首席执行官对学术辩论发表了评论："Bitfinex和Tether都没有，也从未参与过任何形式的市场或价格操纵。Tether的发行不能被用来支撑比特币或Bitfinex上任何其他硬币/代币的价格"^[11]。
