斯托列托夫陨石坑

斯托列托夫陨石坑（Stoletov）是月球背面北半部的一座大撞击坑，其名称取自十九世纪俄罗斯物理学家亚历山大·格里戈里耶维奇·斯托列托夫（Aleksandr Grigorievich Stoletov，1839年-1896年），1970年被国际天文学联合会正式批准接受。

描述

该陨坑西侧毗邻沃尔彻陨石坑、西北靠近蒙戈尔费埃环形山，帕拉斯基沃普洛斯环形山位于它的东北、南面坐落了库利克环形山[1]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为44°49′N 155°30′W / 44.82°N 155.50°W / 44.82; -155.50，直径42.43公里[2]，深度约2.23公里[3]。

斯托列托夫陨石坑外观轮廓接近圆状，坑壁已磨损、侵蚀。它的北端壁覆盖着一群相重叠的坑簇，沿南、西二侧也分别横跨了一座细小的撞击坑。陨坑内侧壁较宽坦，带有一圈模糊的阶地状结构痕迹。坑壁最大高出周边地形1050米[3]，内部容积约1369立方千米[3]。坑内大部分地区较为平坦，但南部地表因覆盖有相邻陨坑形成时所抛射的喷出物而变得崎岖不平，中心点以南坐落了一座小陨坑。
