提希特
提希特（柏柏爾語：Ticit, 阿拉伯语：تيشيت）是毛里塔尼亚中南部，塔甘特高原山脚下的一座古镇，以其特色建筑而著名。提希特的主要产业为椰枣种植，镇中有一座小型博物馆。

镇东南1公里（0.62英里）有提希特机场，设有两条未铺柏油的跑道。
考古价值 编辑
提希特周边一带的砂岩悬崖标志着胡德洼地的北界，临近奥卡尔旱湖。[1]
提希特作为中世纪的商贸节点，已被录入世界遗产名录。
提希特附近的新石器时期遗址Dhar Tichitt是公元前2000年的一个农牧交错社区，为西非现存最古老的聚落，也是撒哈拉以南地区最古老的全石制聚落。[2]遗址建于悬崖上，选用石头作为建筑材料。建造者可能是加纳帝国的前身索宁克人。[3][4][5]公元前500年左右，由于气候变得干旱，该地逐渐被废弃。当地发现有大量的岩画，描绘有多种动物及狩猎场景。[6]P.J. Munson、Augustin F.C. Holl、S. Amblard 等考古学家发现，早在公元前2000年左右，当地已经开始种植粟一类的作物。
