安大略省律師會

安大略省律師會^[4]（英語：Law Society of Ontario，縮寫LSO；法語：Barreau de l'Ontario）是負責加拿大安大略省律師及法律輔助人員（英语：paralegal）自我規管的律師會。其前身上加拿大律師會（英語：Law Society of Upper Canada，縮寫LSUC；法語：Barreau du Haut-Canada）成立於1797年，於2018年由安大略省《律師會法令》（Law Society Act）的修訂更改為現名。

律師會規管安大略省50,000多名律師。^[5]它負責確保律師合乎道德且有足夠能力勝任。律師會有權制定進入該專業的標準。其有權對違反這些標準的律師實施紀律制裁。可用制裁的範圍可由訓誡（admonition）直至取消律師執業資格（disbarment）。律師會位於多倫多的奧斯古大堂（Osgoode Hall）。

由1970年開始，根據《1970年律師會法令》（Law Society Act, 1970），律師會要求潛在的持牌人表現出「良好品格」（good character）。^[6][7]

法律輔助人員

自2007年5月1日起，由於安大略省《律師會法令》（Law Society Act）的修訂，律師會對安大略省8,000多名法律輔助人員（英语：paralegal）牌照持有人進行規管。^[5]法律輔助人員可提供有限的法律服務，例如在省級審裁處代表當事人出席。

審裁處

律師會審裁處（Law Society Tribunal）是安大略省律師會內的一個獨立審裁機構，負責就有關安大略省律師及法律輔助人員的規管案件聆訊和作出裁判。^[8]它於2014年3月12日開始運作。^[9]

自2020年11月16日起，Malcolm M. Mercer成為律師會審裁處的主席。^[10]
