善因基金是1994年在英國成立之國家特許經營的國家彩票。它受賭博委員會監管，目前由柯萊特集團（英语：Camelot Group）營運，該集團於1994年、2001年和2007年獲得許可證，但從2024年起將由Allwyn Entertainment Ltd營運。[1]
獎金一次性支付（Set For Life在規定期限內支付除外）且免稅。在花在國家彩票的所有資金中，大約53%用於獎金基金，25%用於英國國會規定的“正當理由”。[2]另有12%作為彩票稅，4%作為佣金給零售商，總共5%給營運商柯萊特集團，[2]其中4%用於支付營運成本，1%作為利潤。[3] 自2021年4月22日起，玩家必須年滿18歲才能購買彩票和刮刮樂（在線和店內）。[4]
