印第安電單車

印地安電單車是美國的電單車品牌。它以生产大排量V型双气缸发动机的摩托车而闻名。印地安摩托车公司生产的著名摩托车型号有Scouts、Cheif、Chieftan和Roadmaster等。

历史

印地安摩托车公司的前身——亨迪制造公司（英語：Hendee Manufacturing Company）成立于1901年，它是美国的第一家摩托车制造公司。1923年起，亨迪制造公司更名为印地安摩托车制造厂。1953年公司破产后，虽然历经数度易手，然而生意却都未见好转。2011年公司被北极星工业（英语：Polaris Industries）收购后一直运营至今。^[1]

产品线

2013年8月，北极星公司宣布发售三种全新的印地安摩托车型号，分别是Chief Classic、Chief Vintage以及Chieftain。这三种型号都是在传统印地安摩托车的基础上设计的。三种型号都搭载了Thunder Stroke V型双气缸发动机。这种发动机采用了三凸轮设计，中间的凸轮由链条驱动，而前后凸轮则采用齿轮驱动。这样的设计使得推杆可以平行放置，从而在外观上更接近老式的印地安摩托车发动机的设计。发动机的冷却方式为风冷，故从外表上可以看到发动机上大尺寸的散热鳍片，以及嵌在铝制压铸框架中的空气滤清器盒（英語：airbox）。^[2]无论前后轴距大小以及前叉设计如何，所有配备了Thunder Stroke 111发动机的印地安摩托车都有这样的铝制框架设计。集成式变速系统亦采用齿轮驱动。
