《凯莉日记》（英語：The Carrie Diaries）是一部美国电视剧，是《欲望都市》的前传，由坎迪斯·布什奈尔的同名小说改编而成。《凯莉日记》描述了凯莉·布雷萧20世纪80年代早期高中最后一年的生活及部分凯莉在纽约的作家经历。2012年5月11日，CW电视台正式订购了本剧^[1]。电视剧于2013年1月14日开始在CW电视台播出^[2]。

2011年9月CW电视台宣布将开发一部基于基于《凯莉日记》作为原剧前传的电视剧，计划由《绯闻女孩》制作人乔什·施瓦茨和斯蒂芬妮·萨维奇负责，原《欲望都市》编剧艾米·B·哈里斯负责改编的执笔^[4]。

2012年1月18日CW电视台订购了《凯莉日记》的首播集，计划继续由执行制作人乔什·施瓦茨、斯蒂芬妮·萨维奇、莱恩·戈尔茨坦和坎迪斯·布什奈尔掌舵^[5]。2012年5月11日官方宣布预订本剧^[6]。

2012年2月15日电视剧的第一个角色被确定，斯特凡妮亚·欧文获得了凯莉·布雷萧14岁妹妹多丽特的角色；她被描述为在最明显的方面叛逆：染发、被捕、行为不端，多丽特渴望获得注意并愿意为获得之竭尽所能^[7]。

2012年2月27日安娜索菲亚·罗伯被宣布获得了年轻的凯莉·布雷萧的角色^[8]。次日又确定了艾伦·王和凯蒂·芬德莱加入本片，艾伦将会扮演凯莉高中最好的朋友吉尔·汤普森，亦以“The Mouse”所知的吉尔据称具有智慧及忠诚。而凯蒂会在计划中饰演凯莉最大的朋友麦琪·兰德斯，警长的女儿，与凯莉开始探索曼哈顿不同麦琪没有欲望离开她的小镇^[9]。

2012年3月2日奥斯丁·巴特勒确认担任男主角塞巴斯蒂安·基德，凯莉对象和极度熟知内情却又常常扮演外人的人，他在凯莉学校的出现将会大尺度上震动事物^[10]。

2012年3月4日費馬·阿吉曼确认将在首播集中扮演拉丽莎，一个流行的、新潮的《Interview》杂志编辑、聚会女孩及凯莉的导师。同时布兰登·杜林也将加入本片，布兰登将会扮演沃尔特，凯莉的同性恋朋友^[11]。

2012年3月9日马特·莱切斯特确认将饰演凯莉的父亲^[12]。

2012年3月14日克洛伊·布里吉斯确认将出演凯莉的死敌当娜·拉当娜，一个自信和敏锐的流行女孩，所见之外并不简单^[13]。
