克尔德什陨石坑

克尔德什陨石坑（Keldysh）是月球正面东北部位于冷海东侧边沿的一座撞击坑，约形成于38-32亿年前的晚雨海世[1]，其名称取自前苏联数学和力学领域科学家，苏科学院院士姆斯季斯拉夫·弗谢沃洛多维奇·克尔德什（Mstislav Vsevolodovich Keldysh，1911年-1978年），1982年被国际天文学联合会正式接受。

克尔德什陨石坑的周边，月球勘测轨道飞行器拍摄。

该陨坑坐落在突出的阿特拉斯陨石坑和赫拉克勒斯环形山以南，东北毗邻古老而巨大的恩底弥翁环形山 [2]。 该陨坑中心月面坐标为51°14′N 43°39′E / 51.23°N 43.65°E / 51.23; 43.65，直径32.75公里[3]， 深约2.06公里[1]。

克尔德什陨石坑外观轮廓大致圆形，东侧略微外凸，陨坑壁沿尖峭，内侧壁较为平整，几乎未受到明显的磨损和侵蚀，坑壁最大高出周边地形950米[1]，内部容积约为752.86立方千米[1]。坑底表面相对平坦，没有醒目的撞击坑或山脊结构。

在1982年被国际天文学联合会正式命名前，该陨坑曾被称作卫星坑赫拉克勒斯 A（所谓的卫星坑标记法：以所靠近的主坑名+字母来命名）。
