With the Beatles

《With the Beatles》是英國搖滾樂披头四乐队的第二張錄音室專輯。在樂隊灌錄首張大碟《Please Please Me》四個月之後的1963年11月22日，由Parlophone唱片公司發行^[1]。這張專輯有八首原創歌曲（連儂/麥卡尼合作的佔七首；《Don't Bother Me》是佐治·夏里遜的第一首個人錄音作品，也是第一次發行在披頭四專輯的歌曲），和六首翻唱作品（大多是摩城音樂，搖滾樂，和藍調節奏的歌曲）^[2]。唱片封套由時尚攝影師羅伯特·弗里曼拍攝，多年來是其他樂隊的模仿對象。1964年1月20日，專輯中大多數的歌曲由Capitol唱片公司於美國發行，專輯名為《Meet the Beatles!》^[3]。

創下佳績

這個專輯被預先訂購了50萬張，並於1965年9月，銷售了另外的50萬張，令它成為英國第二張賣出一百萬張的專輯，僅次於1958年的電影 - 《南太平洋》的原聲大碟^[4]。1963年11月30日，《With the Beatles》專輯取代了《Please Please Me》，成為英國「大碟排行榜」第一位，並連續停留達21週之久，讓披頭四樂隊連續51週佔據了頭把交椅^[5]。它甚至在「單曲排行榜」達到了第11位（因為當時英國的排行榜不論格式，而計算所有唱片的銷量）。

插曲

澳洲的EMI沒有收到唱片封套，而使用了類似其他唱片封面的，漫畫風格的黑白照片。披頭四對這件事毫不知情，直到他們唯一的澳洲巡迴演唱會其間，歌迷給他們展示了唱片封套，並通報了EMI的宣傳工作人員他們對替代品的不悅^[6]。

發行雷射唱片

1987年2月26日，《With the Beatles》專輯正式發行CD版（只提供單聲道，目錄號碼：CDP 7 46436 2）。以往這個專輯在美國只有進口版；1987年7月21日，唱片及卡式錄音帶亦都在美國國內發行。2009年9月9日，它連同披頭四其他的經典大碟，經過重新混音後，再度推出市面。這次發行的有立體聲和單聲道CD兩個版本^[7]。

2003年，《With the Beatles》專輯在《滾石雜誌》的「史上最偉大五百個專輯」名單中排名第420位^[8]。它在英國和德國排名第一。
