Square Enix Collective
Square Enix Collective是由史克威尔艾尼克斯子公司史克威尔艾尼克斯欧洲持有，位於英國的電子遊戲發行商。公司于2013年建立，主要負責獨立遊戲的發行。目前由Phil Elliott擔任公司總經理[1]。
歷史
2013年，史克威尔艾尼克斯宣布推出全新遊戲計畫「Square Enix Collective」[2][3]。計畫除了透過為獨立開發商籌募開發資金，還會給予遊戲的開發建議與法務服務[4]。而計畫最初成立的原因是因為時任史克威尔艾尼克斯執行長的松田洋祐提出想要開發新的遊戲市場[4]。
發行遊戲
遊戲創作者與開發商將他們的作品發布在Square Enix Collective，史克威尔艾尼克斯批准後作品會經過為期28天的評估，評估項目包含了開發人員的技術、經驗和資金使用計劃[5]，確保遊戲開發人員能夠開發遊戲和所需的實際開發資金[6]，如果開發者本身沒有創意或是創意不足，也能使用部分Eidos的遊戲IP[7]。
開發人員申請的遊戲最後會根據史克威尔艾尼克斯與玩家的意見決定是否通過審核[2][3]。通過審核的遊戲將籌募資金，史克威尔艾尼克斯會從資金籌集足夠的遊戲收取5%的金額當作服務費[8]，另外，還能讓史克威尔艾尼克斯發行遊戲，以獲得更多的關注[8]。沒有通過審核的遊戲，史克威尔艾尼克斯會提供意見反饋和確切落選原因[2][3][7]。
由Sushee開發的《Goetia》是第一款透過Square Enix Collective發行的遊戲作品[9]，而Sushee同時也是第一家獲得使用Eidos遊戲IP的公司[10]。不是所有通過Square Enix Collective計畫的遊戲都會透過史克威尔艾尼克斯發行，例如Square Enix Collective第一款支持的遊戲《月之獵人》[8]。
