約翰·克羅森

約翰·克羅森（John Dominic Crossan，1934—），愛爾蘭裔美國人，著名新約聖經學者，耶穌研究會創辦人之一。

克羅森出生於愛爾蘭蒂珀雷里。1950年加入天主教聖母忠僕會，後來到美國。1957年受封成為修士。返回愛爾蘭，於1959年獲愛爾蘭國立St. Patrick's College Maynooth博士學位。又到羅馬Pontifical Biblical Institute修習聖經語文。1965又在東耶路撒冷École Biblique研究考古學。

他在伊利諾州Mundelein的St. Mary of the Lake神學院教學一年，以及芝加哥的Catholic Theological Union教學一年之後，克羅森決定脫離教士生涯，1969年夏天與羅耀拉大學教授Margaret Dagenais結婚，並在1969年秋季加入DePaul大學，開始長達25年的比較宗教教學生涯。

1985年克羅森與Robert Funk創立了耶穌研究會(Jesus Seminar)，號召學者專門研究歷史性耶穌。
