Google Currents（原名为Google+ for G Suite）是Google为企业内部交流而开发的软件[1][2][3][4][5]，為G Suite系列产品之一[6]。

2011年6月底，Google公司推出社交网络服务Google+。虽然Google野心勃勃，企图以此打败竞争对手Facebook，成为第一大社交网站[9][10]，并且在2013年1月份，曾超越Twitter，一度成為世界上第二大的社交網站。[11]但在之后的几年，其用户参与度低，加上於2018年3月发现可能會導致數十萬名的使用者資料外洩潛在的軟體漏洞[12]，但Google没有在发现漏洞时主动告知用户，而在后来才承认存在漏洞[13][14]。Google决定在2019年4月2日关停消费者（个人）版本的Google+。个人用户可以在关停前下載並遷移他們的資訊；企業版則加入 Google Workspace 重新設計[15][16]。

产品发展

最初产品名为「Google+ for G Suite」，是Google+企業版結束後的後繼服務。

2019年4月10日，Google+ for G Suite更名为Google Currents，进入Beta测试阶段[17][18][19][20]。2020年7月6日，Google Currents正式上线。 [21][22][23]

2022年2月11日，Google宣佈計劃逐步停用Google Currents，並將用戶轉移到Google Chat[24]。
