背景 英国《1861年侵害人身罪法令 [2] 检察总长诉X案 萨维塔·哈拉帕那瓦之死 的推动下，出台了《2013年孕期生命保護法令 》。[3] [4] 堕胎 几乎无法统计。在X案之后于1992年通过的宪法第十三和第十四条修正案保证了有关国外堕胎的信息和出国旅行的堕胎权。英国堕胎诊所接待的爱尔兰女性人数在2001年达到6,673人，2016年达到3,265人。[5] [6]
