麥加起重機倒塌事故

麥加起重機倒塌事故，是指2015年9月11日，發生在沙特阿拉伯麥加禁寺的一起履带起重機吊臂墜落事故，该起重机由德国与瑞士的利勃海尔制造。事發时該清真寺正由沙特最大、世界第二大建筑施工企业本拉登集团進行擴建工程，清真寺的周圍有多部起重機同時工作中，而寺內亦有大批朝聖者[16][17]。據法新社報導，吊臂直接砸穿了清真寺的天花板，故造成大量傷亡；寺內的信徒是由各地聚集而來，準備參加一年一度的朝聖活動[18]，当年的朝聖原訂於9月21日舉行，預估有300萬名信徒參加[19]。
