雅科夫金陨石坑

雅科夫金陨石坑（Yakovkin）是位于月球正面西南边沿上的一座撞击坑，约形成于39.2-38.5亿年前的酒海纪[1]，其名称取自前苏联天文学家阿韦尼尔·亚历山德罗维奇·雅科夫金（1887年-1974年），1985年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。

该陨坑位于形成于酒海纪期，直径630公里的孟德尔-里德伯盆地内，东南靠近潘格雷环形山，在被国际天文学联合会更名前，曾称之为卫星坑“潘格雷 H”[2]。陨坑中心月面坐标为54°25′S 78°56′W / 54.42°S 78.93°W / -54.42; -78.93，直径35.92公里[3]，深度约2.12公里[1]。

雅科夫金陨石坑凹凸不平的坑壁轮廓形似多边形状，坑内已被熔岩淹没，形成一圈相对较小的内侧壁，坑壁最大高出周边地形990米[1]，内部容积约932公里3[1]。坑内除散布有一些细小的坑穴外，无其它地貌特征。环陨坑周边的地形已发生改变，显示分布有一些小或浅的撞击坑，而西北更远处的地形则更为崎岖粗糙。

该陨坑位置非常接近在地球上不利于观察的月球边沿处，且外观因透视而变形。
