陈秀雄 (数学家)

陈秀雄 （1965年—），男，浙江青田人，美国^[可疑][1]华人数学家，专攻微分几何学。Calabi晚年弟子。^[2]

生平

1965年出生于浙江省青田县山口镇，1982年毕业于青田中学，1987年毕业于中国科学技术大学数学系，^[3][4][3]1987年考入^{[來源請求]}中国科学院研究生院^[5][可疑]，师从彭家贵。1989年赴美留学，进入宾夕法尼亚大学，1994年获得数学博士学位，师从数学家欧亨尼奥·卡拉比。1994年任教于麦马士达大学，1996年在国家科学基金会支持下在斯坦福大学进入博士后工作。1998年担任普林斯顿大学助理教授，2002年担任威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校副教授，2005年升为教授，2010年担任石溪大学教授。^[6]

奖项和荣誉

• 2002年受邀在北京举办的国际数学家大会上做45分钟演讲。^[8]
• 2015年被选为美国数学学会会士。^[9]
• 2019年获得奥斯瓦尔德·维布伦几何学奖，与西蒙·唐纳森和学生孙崧同时获奖。[6][7]^[10][11]
• 2019年获得西蒙斯学者奖
