贝塔以色列

贝塔-以色列人（希伯來語：בֵּיתֶא יִשְׂרָאֵל‎: Beta Israel, “以色列之家”；吉茲語：ቤተ እስራኤል），又称埃塞俄比亚犹太人（希伯來語：יְהוּדֵי אֶתְיוֹפְּיָה‎: Yehudey Etyopyah;；吉茲語：የኢትዮጵያ አይሁድዊ），是居住于埃塞俄比亚北部与东北部地区的犹太人。埃塞俄比亚的非犹太人称他们为法拉沙人（Falasha），意为 “流亡者”或“陌生人”，但是这些犹太人认为这是一个贬义词[4]。

目前居住在以色列的该族群人口超过12万人。其中，有81,000人是出生在埃塞俄比亚，其余38,500人（32%）出生在以色列[5]。根据《回归法》，犹太人以及有犹太父母或祖父母者，以及他们的配偶，有权定居以色列并获得公民身份。以色列政府安排了营救行动以将面临内战和饥荒威胁的埃塞俄比亚犹太人营救到以色列，最著名的是摩西行动（1984年）和所罗门行动（1991年）。迁移至今仍在继续中。

起源

《列王荣耀记》（Kebra Negast）认为这个族群是和孟尼利克一世来到埃塞俄比亚的以色列支派的后裔，而孟尼利克一世是所罗门和示巴女王的儿子。孟尼利克成年后到耶路撒冷见他的父亲，回去埃塞俄比亚时，带走了约柜。

在希伯来圣经中并未记载示巴女王嫁给了所罗门王，或与他有性关系，只是提到她对他的财富和智慧留下了深刻印象，交换了皇家礼物，然后回到古实。但是仍有人将“皇家礼物”解释为性接触。希伯来圣经中也没有提到约柜失踪。

移民

从1984年开始，以色列主导的摩西行动开始将贝塔以色列人营救到以色列。到1985年，行动中断，许多贝塔以色列人仍留在埃塞俄比亚。1990年，以色列政府和埃塞俄比亚达成协议，允许剩下的贝塔以色列人移居以色列。1991年，埃塞俄比亚陷入混乱，埃塞俄比亞人民革命民主陣線領導的武裝袭击并最终占据了首都亚的斯亚贝巴。由于担心这些贝塔以色列人遭遇厄运，以色列政府和一些私人机构继续迁移行动。以色列航空获得了特别许可，可以在安息日飞行（因为生命危险），5月24日，星期五，所罗门行动开始。在36小时内，34架以色列航空客机移除了座位，以达到最大载客量，共计将14,325名贝塔以色列人运送到以色列。

埃塞俄比亚犹太人目前正在逐渐融入以色列社会，如参军、受教育、从事政治活动等。

到2019年底为止，以色列的贝塔-以色列族群人口有15万5300人。[6]

歧视

埃塞俄比亚犹太人与其他来自苏丹等地非洲黑人难民在以色列也受到一定程度的歧视。[7][8]1996年，曾发生血库事件，以防范艾滋病毒传染病等理由，拒绝接受埃塞俄比亚犹太人的捐血。[9][10][11]
