詹姆斯·貝

詹姆斯·麥可·貝（英語：James Michael Bay^[1]，1990年9月4日—）是一位英國創作型歌手^[2][3]及吉他手。^[4]他已發行了幾張迷你專輯與一張專輯《喧囂與寂靜（英语：Chaos and the Calm）》。這張專輯曾登上英國榜冠軍及美國榜第15名。單曲〈忍住淚〉（Hold Back The River）也曾登上英國單曲榜第2名。貝在2015年獲得全英音樂獎的樂評人選擇獎。^[5]

早年生活

貝自幼在英格蘭哈特福郡希欽生活，並進入希欽男子學校（英语：Hitchin Boys' School）就讀。11歲時，貝在聽到艾瑞克·克萊普頓的〈Layla〉後受到啟發，開始彈奏古典吉他。他在七年後搬往布萊頓進入布萊頓現代音樂學院（英语：Brighton Institute of Modern Music）就學後，^[4]從城市的開放麥克風之夜演奏中學到了更多，當他談到這件事時曾說到「這讓我受益匪淺，像是創作、自我演出或是努力堅持自我」。^[6]

貝從布萊頓現代音樂學院休學後，透過一位粉絲在Youtube上傳他在倫敦開放麥克風之夜的演出影片，得到了共和唱片A&R的關注，並在一週之內便被唱片公司簽下。他的首張迷你專輯《The Dark of the Morning》於2013年發行。不到一年，他便舉辦了他的首場英國專場演唱會。^[6]

貝在2013年7月18日發行他的首張迷你專輯《The Dark of the Morning》。他的第二張迷你專輯《Let It Go（英语：Let It Go (James Bay song)）》於2014年5月12日推出。^[7]這張《Let It Go》迷你專輯空降十大iTunes專輯榜，^[8]且主打單曲〈Let It Go（英语：Let It Go (James Bay song)）〉在2014年9月27日登上英國榜第62名。^[9]

貝曾在巴寶莉伸展台上現場演唱，也錄製了一段巴寶莉不插電原創音樂（Burberry Acoustic）版本的歌曲。^[10]貝在2014年與赫齐尔一同巡迴演出。^[11]

他與製作人賈奎爾·金（英语：Jacquire King）合作，在納許維爾的黑鳥工作室（Blackbird Studios）錄製了他的首張專輯《喧囂與寂靜（英语：Chaos and the Calm）》。^[12]
