圣法根斯国家历史博物馆（威爾斯語：Sain Ffagan: Amgueddfa Werin Cymru），是英國威爾士卡迪夫的一个露天博物馆，记录了威尔士人民的历史生活方式、文化和建筑。该博物馆是威尔士国家博物馆（Amgueddfa Cymru）系统的一部分[2]。它由来自威尔士不同地点的40多座异地迁移来的建筑组成，位于圣法根城堡这座伊丽莎白时代庄园的院内，属一级保护文物[3]。2011年，《Which? 》杂志将该博物馆评为英国最受欢迎的旅游景点[4]。2018年完成了为期六年、耗资3000万英镑的改造，该博物馆在2019年被评为艺术基金年度博物馆[5]。

历史

1946年，普利茅斯伯爵捐赠了城堡和土地后，博物馆成立[6]。它于1948年向公众开放，当时的名称是威尔士民俗博物馆。该博物馆的威尔士语名称（威尔士民俗博物馆，威爾斯語：Sain Ffagan: Amgueddfa Werin Cymru）自那时起一直没有改变，而英语名称则后改为威尔士生活博物馆、又被改为圣法根斯国家历史博物馆、再改为目前的名称[2][7]。

该博物馆是Iorwerth Peate的心血结晶，以斯德哥尔摩的瑞典本土建筑博物馆（即Skansen）为蓝本，即将国内各地的历史建筑异地迁移到同一处以形成博物馆规制。Skansen博物馆重新搭建的大多数结构都是木制的，因此很容易拆卸和重新组装，但在威尔士建立一个类似的博物馆要更难，因为威尔士的许多地方建筑都是由砖石制成的[3][6]。

2017年翻新

2017年7月，翻新后的主楼开放[8]。次年10月所有翻新项目完成。本次翻新历时6年、耗资3000万磅，由威尔士政府、英国国家彩票等若干个方面资助[9][10]。翻新中新建了三个展示威尔士历史的新画廊、改建了铁器时代的农庄Bryn Eryr和中世纪的王子宫和Llys Llywelyn等建筑，翻新了主入口建筑和新的餐厅、游乐区和学习空间[11][12]。

2019年6月，圣法根被艺术基金评为英国2019年年度博物馆[13]，艺术基金赞扬了该设施的 "特殊想象力、创新和成就"[14]。
