美國陸軍第82空降師

第82空降師（82nd Airborne Division）是美國陸軍中最早建立的空降師，該師前身是『全美』第82步兵師（82nd Division），成立於1917年8月25日。第二次世界大戰爆發後，於1942年3月重新組建。全師官兵承續第82步兵師傳承，配戴「全美」肩章。

歷史沿革

第82空降師參與二次世界大戰歐洲戰場迫使法西斯義大利投降的西西里島戰役作為首役。隨後參與盟軍1944年在德占法國的諾曼第戰役，以及德占荷蘭發動对德軍的市场花园行动，作戰結束後於西歐戰線後方休整擔任戰區預備隊，在納粹德國發動阿登突出部作戰時做為步兵投入美軍防線。

第82空降師也曾經在八二三砲戰期間派遣一個營級單位駐台，局勢和緩後才撤出台灣。

駐地及隸屬

第82空降師師部的本土駐地在北卡羅萊納州的布拉格堡，同一營區也是美國陸軍空降兵訓練部、美國陸軍第十八空降軍軍部、美國陸軍特種部隊甘迺迪特種作戰中心與三角洲部隊等與空降作戰相關的美國陸軍部隊的駐地。

第82空降師目前隸屬於美國第18空降軍，劃歸美國中央司令部，為美軍具有傳奇色彩的精銳部隊之一。自從越戰期間美國陸軍第101空降師改制為第101空中突擊師之後，第82空降師是美國現存唯一的現役正規空降師，至今仍活躍在美軍的各個戰場中。
